The NOS-Injected, 450-horse C5 NSX Run in a NOS-injected C5

This photo area is of the NSX club outing on January 23rd, 1999. It was kind of open to non-NSX cars by invitation of Randy Marchetti, the guy behind RM Racing. Since my brother-in-law, Carl, had just gotten his nitrous kit on his C5 installed there, he was invited along. Being the cool guy Carl is, and knowing how much I like NSX's, he invited me along too.

This was a very cool trip, and I got a lot of good photos with my new Nikon N90 that I got this Christmas. Seeing how well these pictures came out compared to the other two areas, it's easy to see why Nikon's such a respected name in cameras. Finally, I was able to get pictures with the photo effect I'd been looking for: To freeze the car itself, but have the background blurred and the wheels spin-blurred. I've got a few pictures both of a nice red NSX and Carl's C5 where I was able to get this right. An effect which was nearly impossible with my all-manual Pentax became child's play with the microprocessor controlled shutter-priority mode on the N90. As always, feedback is more than welcome, as I get almost zero email on my photography stuff.

Carl's C5.. Looking fast!
Nice profile of the C5
I had the panning down so well, you'd hardly guess he was going 25mph.
